About Savile Row Kilts

Savile Row Kilts - bespoke Highland Wear for Gentlemen and Ladies. All kilts are handmade using the premier kilt making tartan fabrics woven by Lochcarron of Scotland, a family owned company now in its 5th generation. The skill and talent of the family was recognised when King George V commissioned John Buchan, grandfather of the company founder, to create a special Tweed fabric. Lochcarron's mill in Scotland manufactures the world's largest available range of authentic tartans. Savile Row Kilts brings the quality, heritage and exlusivity of this remarkable company to the heart of the bespoke tailoring industry. Lochcarron tartan and Savile Row tailoring are both favoured by Royalty, celebrities and designers around the globe. The two have similar reputations in their field and it is only fitting to unite the two at the prestigious showrooms of 13 Savile Row.
Beau Brummel, born in 1778 and a close friend of the Prince of Wales (later King George IV) created a fashion for bespoke tailoring in wool - the essence of Savile Row today. By 1806 the first tailor was established in Savile Row.
Almost 200 years later Savile Row tailoring is as highly regarded as ever and has just taken a step in a new direction for the 21st Century with the launch of Savile Row Kilts.
